The one word everyone needs to learn.

Throughout my life I have been blessed with a loving family, caring friends, incredible education, good health, the list goes on…

Yet, I still find myself doubting and COMPLAINING about stupid things that go on throughout my day that I find to be annoying or bothersome… as if the things I listed above don’t matter all of the sudden.

I find myself complaining about not having enough money for this or materialistic items, a good hair day, blah blah blah… why do I do this to myself?

It’s all within the mindset of someone with patience.

People with patience tend to live a happier life. Its true! You can challenge me on that all you want, but you’re wrong if you think otherwise… I promise. But, there are more factors that go into having a “happy life” but it all starts with you and your patience.

Quit complaining.

First of all, no one cares about whatever you’re complaining about. No one likes a constant complainer. My mother and father have taught me this very well…

If you’re going to complain, at least do something about it so you’ll never have to complain about it again for two reasons:
1.) Why would you ever want a consistent negative aspect in your life that you could easily change?
2.) No one wants to hear you complain about something over, and over, and over, and OVER AGAIN.

Do yourself a favor, grow up and be your own boss when making your life a happier one.

No one is going to do it for you.

Having patience with everything will 100% increase your chances into having a happier life. If you have patience with success in your career, finding love, education, process of life… it will all fall into place.

Along with having patience, you can’t just sit around all the time. Hard work gets you great success (with patience!)

If you use up a lot of your time playing video games/apps on your phone, Netflix marathons, sleeping (way too much), excessive social media browsing, going out with friends too much, etc.

You are wasting time that can be used towards the success you’re craving for and constantly complaining about not having.

Also,

Success doesn’t happen over night.

I feel like we all know this but we still live our lives like so and complain about it not ever getting here fast enough.

Keep working for what you want. I promise you, if you’re consistent with your hard work and never let up on little failures throughout your life, success will come in due time. There is a plan for you.

Quit comparing your life to someone else’s success.

I want to be successful just like everyone else does. That doesn’t mean I get an easy way in or don’t have to work as hard as others to get it.

It’s easy to compare your life to people that have their success already. But comparing your life to someone else’s will only lead your life down a dark road of depression.

You can’t expect your success to come out like someone else’s life did either. Your success has its own plan and is control by you and only you.

You have the power to guide your own life.

All of these factors that I’m listing were inspired by a video that my dad shared with me on Facebook earlier this morning. I’ll link it here:

Watch it. Even if you think you don’t need to, watch it anyways. Watch all of his videos, they’re so inspiring.

Thanks for reading! Keep working for what you want. No one is going to do it for you… You got this.

Patience my friend, patience.

xoxo
Heather
